One of the things that has greatly improved my posture was one of those kneel down chairs. You can pick them up from Staples for around $100. I love mine, and highly recommend it.

Great article Mark. Spending accounts are great ways to provide some flexibility, however, ASO or Refund accounting methods should be exhausted before moving to a full Spending account plan for Health and Dental.

According to data, we are contagious within 3 days of catching a cold, and often before symptoms are felt. http://www.askthedoctor.com/index.php/topics-a-z/41-cold-and-flu/58402-contagious-period-for-common-colds.html Obviously it is not much fun to be sitting alongside a co-worker who is streaming with a cold or hacking away. I think employees should be strongly encouraged to go home and rest. Above all, we should try to stay healthy and do what we can to combat colds and flu, especially during the Winter. My remedy? Boiron makes some great natural flu prophylaxis - take Influenzinum and Thymuline in a six week course at the start of flu season. Thymuline and Oscillococcinum for when you get a bad cold or the flu. This always works for me and my immune system has been compromised!

The end cause of lower back pain is strains on the lower back muscles. This is usually because these muscle tissues are weak and we over use them doing an activity or work around your house or at work. Many of us are active or go to a gym or both. But even those reading this who are active in everyday life or training how often do you work out the small of your back? Most of us almost never do this unless our company is in a structured workout system. If you don't work it out, lower back exercises are highly suggested to avoid injuries. So I would like to suggest a quick one to try. They are labeled as back ups or reverse sit ups. All you want to do is lay on your stomach with your legs flat, place your hands behind the head and lift your upper body up until you can look up and see the hallway above you. The motion should be like a sit up only reversed. You might also try lifting one shoulder before the opposite in a twisting motion like you will in a crunch. Try 10 reps twice a day and help prevent spine injuries. As always, please consult a doctor before starting any workout and if the exercise causes pain stop and consider getting a check up.
